At first glance, Waterloo Bags may look like a place to shop for purses. Anyone who has been to one of our workshops knows it is so much more. We do not just offer bags. We offer connection, creativity, and a moment to slow down in a world that rarely lets you pause. Every workshop is a chance to design something uniquely yours, but the real magic happens in the experience. It is the laughter, the shared ideas, the unexpected color combinations, and that “I made this!” moment when your purse comes together.

What we do goes beyond retail. It is hands-on, personal, and joy driven. Whether you are hosting a corporate team-building event, celebrating a bride-to-be, or planning a birthday with friends, Waterloo Bags transforms purse making into a memorable creative journey that leaves you with a custom accessory and an experience worth talking about.

We are currently getting ready for a permanent location, and when you walk into our new retail space, it will look a little different from your typical purse company. You will see assembled purses to give you an idea of how everything comes together and to help spark inspiration. This gives you just a taste of what you will experience at a Waterloo Bags retail store or workshop.

The main part of the store will feature all the parts of the purse, fully disassembled. Yes, that is right, disassembled. We are not here to tell you what style of purse you should wear or what colors you should pair together. We are here to inspire you to follow your own style, whether that means building a pink and purple purse or a green and yellow purse. You can bring friends and build your purses together as you collaborate on colors and styles. You can also come on your own and one of our teammates will be there to help you build and color coordinate your purse in a way that reflects your personality.

We have never considered ourselves to be just a purse store where you pick from styles and colors we choose for you. Instead, we let you select your colors so you can show us your style.
